Chaplains/True North

Chaplains offer 100% confidential counseling without limitation. That means that ANYTHING you say to a Chaplain (or Religious Affairs Airman), stays with them and cannot be shared with commanders, security forces, or anyone else.

Chaplains offer individual/couple/family counseling on a number of topics including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, financial issues, general guidance, grief, relationships, religious/spiritual issues, stress, workplace issues, and more.

                 Strength and Conditioning:
 

The mission of the HPLC’s Strength and Conditioning staff is to help build physically stronger, faster, and more resilient Airmen. Regardless of your role in the SOW be it ensuring administrative tasks run smoothly, avionics operate properly, or you’re a critical part of an aircrew – for permanent party and the many students who call the 58th SOW home, we are here to support you.

The Human Performance Training Center (HPTC) is open 0600 to 1800 Monday to Thursday and 0600 to 1600 on Friday. We host coach lead Performance Training Group (PTG) classes five days a week- Monday through Thursday at 0630, 1130, and 1430 and on Fridays at 0630 and 1130. PTG Classes use a performance model of strength and conditioning utilizing years’ experience with high level athletes to address the wide range of strength, stability, and movement needs of the 58th SOW population.

Tactical Sports Medicine:

Sports Medicine provides service to the 58th SOW and focuses on the needs of the Active-duty Airmen.

Airmen evaluated to determine therapy needs Evidence‐based individualized treatment plans. Ongoing communication with HPLC

The HPLC Tactical Sports Medicine program focuses on assisting the Airman in regaining mobility, balance, agility, and muscle strength through a multi‐disciplinary approach.

Sports Medicine can benefit the Airman recovering from medical conditions including but not limited to:

       Overuse injuries
       Trauma
  ACL injury and reconstruction
    Chronic and Acute Back/ Neck Pain
      Rotator cuff tears and repairs
      Joint sprains and strains
           Patellofemoral pain syndrome
       Other sports/work related injuries
