History

History of the 58th SOW officially began with the activation of the 58th Fighter-Bomber Wing (FBW) on July 10, 1952. However, its bestowed honors trace back to the 58th Pursuit, later Fighter, Group. The 58 SOW may display the streamers and decorations earned by the 58th Pursuit Group.
