Reminder! Third Entry Lane Opening at the Wyoming Gate is Open

To help alleviate traffic during morning surge hours (5:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.), drivers will utilize the far-right lane and then zipper merge back into normal traffic flow immediately after passing through the gate.

Eubank Gate is currently the most utilized access point for Kirtland. We highly encourage personnel to spread out their gate utilization to help reduce overall congestion. As a reminder, there are five gates available to access the installation: Carlisle, Gibson, Truman, Wyoming, and Eubank.

To help expedite entry and ensure safety for all, please keep the following reminders in mind:

  • Have IDs Ready: Roll down your back windows as you approach the gate to expedite gate entry checks.

  • Valid Credentials: All adults in a vehicle coming onto the base must possess a valid base ID or an authorized pass with credentials.

  • Merge Safely: Exercise caution when zippering back into traffic after passing through the gates.

  • Be Patient: Please remain patient with our Defenders and fellow drivers, as vehicle turnarounds continue to impact overall gate traffic.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us improve traffic flow onto the installation.

Kirtland's Click It or Ticket campaign

During the month of June, our 377th Security Forces members will increase seat belt enforcement, and traffic violation stops across the installation to improve traffic safety and reduce the risk of injury to civilian and military members here on base.

Buckle up, drive safe, and be cautious!

  • Classes will be conducted daily from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00p.m. We ask that you do not have appointments due to the lack of time to make modules up as the course is only one week.

AF Supervisor/NCOIC/Flight Chief Job Qualification Standards (JQS):

 https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Foundational-Resources/

  • This Air Force Job Qualification Standard (AFJQS) offers a framework of discrete, tangible tasks that measure an Airman's ability to serve as a Supervisor in the United States Air Force. It will bridge the gap between Professional Military Education (PME) and on the job experience, allowing for current supervisors to have ownership in the development of all new Airman assigned in supervisory.
