Brigadier General Everett Thomas
Brigadier General Everett Thomas, Commander, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, presents a certificate of completion to Michael Postletwait who completed his student internship with the center’s history office. Postlewait along with (not pictured) Ronald Felix (Tijeras Arroyo Golf Course), Terese Garcia (Maxwell Child Development Center), and Danielle Baldwin (Air Force Safety Center), interned through an innovative partnership between the center’s equal opportunity office and the New Mexico Commission for the Blind. The partnership is an effort to increase opportunities for persons with targeted disabilities across the Team Kirtland enterprise. The New Mexico Commission for the Blind’s Students in Transition to Employment Program provides blind students with a carefully monitored quality work experience.
