APS accepting transfer requests Published March 1, 2012 By 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- Albuquerque Public Schools is accepting transfer requests for the 2012-13 school year. For parents who want their children to attend school outside their neighborhood, transfer requests for the first lottery draw are being accepted until March 15. APS has raised the priority level for children with an active-duty military family member. The transfer request is available at www.aps.edu/schools/transfers/transfers. Due to technical problems, those who submitted transfer requests online Feb. 1 will need to resubmit before the deadline.
