  • Troops to teachers

    The Kirtland AFB Education Center is hosting a Troops to Teachers seminar at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 1 in Room 117. Troops to Teachers is a U.S. Department of Education and Department of Defense program that helps eligible military personnel begin a new career as teachers. A free lunch will be provided.

  • Movies Under the Stars

    The 377th Air Base Wing will present the film "Puss in Boots" at dusk July 13 at Hardin Field as part of "Movies Under the Stars."Free popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, juice boxes and water will be available.Bring a blanket and enjoy the show. No pets and no smoking allowed.

  • Batman vehicle on display July 1

    The "Tumbler" (Batmobile) and "Batpod" (motorcycle) from the movie "The Dark Knight Rises" will be on display at the Kirtland AFB Commissary from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 1. The visit is part of the national "Tumbler Tour." For more information, visit www.tumblertour.com.

    The Snakes Alive! event scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 23 at the Kirtland AFB Library has been canceled.
