Military Personnel flight offers appointment system for CAC issuance

  • Published
Are you tired of the long waits at the MPF to get your Common Access Card issued? Help is here. The MPF, in cooperation with the Kirtland Network System, has launched an appointment system to issue the CACs.

This system is available to those personnel who have an account on the Kirtland Network. The appointment system must be accessed from the Kirtland network from a CAC enabled system and is only available for the issuance of the CAC.

To access the appointment scheduler:

Go to: https://cacschedule.kirtland.af.mil. Once on the site you will need to create your account on the scheduler. You will need to create a user name and password as well as provide the last four digits of your social security number.

Once you have created your account, log off and then log back on the scheduler with your newly created account information. You will then be able to view the appointments that are available to obtain your CAC.

Guidelines for using the appointment are:

1. Do not make more than one appointment to have your CAC issued.

2. If you cannot show up for a scheduled appointment, log onto the scheduler and cancel the appointment.

3. If you are more than 5 minutes late for your appointment a walk-in will be taken to make effective use of the system.

4. The appointment system is for CAC issuance only. DEERs updates, retiree and dependent identification cards will still be issued on a walk-in basis.
