The Combined Federal Campaign runs from Sept. 21 to Dec. 15.

The CFC is an authorized, on-the-job solicitation of active-duty military personnel and civilian employees of the Air Force.

During CFC, fundraising activities are restricted. Specifically, all fundraising for causes other than the CFC is restricted within the workplace. This includes circulating an order form for holiday gift wrap or cookies.

Private organizations may not hold fundraising events on base for any off-base organization or for non-military members.

Fundraising on any military institution is subject to a complex set of rules. Col. Robert Maness, 377th Air Base Wing commander, must approve all on-base fundraising.

Military members are also restricted from participating in all forms of fundraising during duty hours and while in uniform.

Individuals interested in holding a fundraiser should call the Force Support Squadron at 263-7688 to initiate a request for approval.

For specific guidance refer to Air Force Instruction 36-310, Fundraising within the Air Force.

For further information, call the base legal office at 846-4217.
