The Air University registrar’s office has made it simpler for former, current and future officer students to obtain their academic records.

The registrar’s office has updated its telephone message line and added new options for students to order transcripts, certificates, diplomas and other records tied with AU’s officer academic programs.

To reach the registrar’s automated phone line, students can call 1-800-262-9140 and select Option 1.

The option then directs caller’s to either submit a service ticket with the AU Service Desk to request an academic record or directs them to a new email address to resolve time-sensitive issues if a service ticket has already been submitted.

Air University, however, is transitioning from a legacy to a modern student information system, and the transition is causing some delays in resolving requests, said registrar officials.

“The delays will get shorter as the new SIS matures,” said AU Registrar David Turner. “But we are hopeful that the new telephone messaging and email systems will improve the communications between our office, AU schools and students and faculty.”
