STEVEN B. AMBURGEY

Steven B. Amburgey is the Deputy Air Force Program Executive Officer for Strategic Systems, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. He assists in the acquisition, modernization and integration of current and future nuclear systems, subsystems and components. This includes all intercontinental ballistic missile demonstration and validation, modernization and continuing sustainment efforts. 

He is also responsible for Air Force's air-delivered nuclear weapons support efforts, including all current and future air-launched cruise missile investment programs. The strategic systems portfolio includes 37 acquisition programs valued at $4.5 billion and leverages more than 1,400 AFNWC military and civilian personnel at 18 locations worldwide.
