The second week of Special Warfare Orientation Course full mission profiles include U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force rotary wing helicopters. Here, cadets infiltrate and exfiltrate via CH-47 Chinooks and UH-1 “Huey” Iroquois, making this U.S. Air Force Academy summer program and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps development training a joint team effort. The information and exposure during SWOC will help cadets prepare physically and mentally prior to attending a selection for Special Warfare, called Phase II.
