Strike CAS
The second week of Special Warfare Orientation Course introduces cadets to the three Air Force Special Warfare missions of Global Access, Precision Strike, and Personnel Recovery. Here, cadets learn how to perform the precision strike mission by securing an area, developing a plan, and communicating target area description via a Close Air Support 9-line briefing to an attack aircraft. The information and exposure during SWOC will help cadets prepare physically and mentally prior to attending a selection for Special Warfare, called Phase II
