    Albuquerque will host the 32nd annual National Veterans Golden Age Games in August and, to make this event happen, 2,500 volunteers are needed. The games take place Aug. 3-8 at various locations across the Albuquerque metro area.

  • Golden Age Games need volunteers

    The 32nd Annual National Veterans Annual Golden Age Games takes place in Albuquerque Aug. 3-8. The event, a sports competition for veterans 55 and older, needs volunteers to help conduct events. Col. Gibbs has declared the events an alternate duty location for 377th Air Base Wing members.

  • Safe observance of Reveille, Retreat

    In short, during “Reveille” and “Retreat” we stand at parade rest; during “To the Colors” and the national anthem, we salute while facing the flag, or the sound of music if you don’t see the flag. If you are driving, pull to the side, and wait through the playing of the music.
