Airmen assigned to the 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron escort a memorial display honoring Capt. Joel Gentz, April 23, at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. The display, known as “Joel’s Box,” commemorates Gentz’s life and sacrifice after he was killed in action during a mission in Afghanistan on June 22, 2010. Led by members of the pararescue community and joined by Gentz’s family, the formation march marked the beginning of the display’s final journey to its permanent home in the Pararescue Schoolhouse’s heritage museum.
