Col. Eric Froehlich, 377th Air Base Wing commander, speaks to a crowd waiting to board the Holiday Express. Froehlich thanked Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company, a nationwide freight transportation company, for providing the opportunity to ride the train to members of Team Kirtland. The company has been running its Holiday Express for the past eight years to give members of the military and their families the experience of riding a train. Dec. 2 marked the second time the train made its way to Albuquerque.
