AFRL sphere

In a joint effort, the giant vacuum sphere was moved Dec. 17 from the south end of the runway to the east between the AFRL buildings. The vacuum sphere is state-of- the-art equipment used in gas-laser development and research, one of the key elements which reinforce U.S. Air Force space superiority. (Photo by Master Sgt.
