Twelve Air Force ROTC cadets from Detachment 510 at the University of New Mexico received their diplomas and were commissioned as second lieutenants in a ceremony May 16 at Kirtland's Hangar 1000. Guest speakers were New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez (pictured) and Brig. Gen. Mark McLeod, the director for logistics, engineering and security cooperation, U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. The new officers are 2nd Lt. Adrian T. Archibeque; 2nd Lt. Nicolas T. Austin; 2nd Lt. Rebecca Billison; 2nd Lt. Caleb G. Cionelo; 2nd Lt. Gerald A. Feltman; 2nd Lt. Jeffery Gilmour; 2nd Lt. Marc Lane; 2nd Lt. Christopher M. McLeod; 2nd Lt. Adrian A. Nuanes-Lucero; 2nd Lt. Mariana F. Rael; 2nd Lt. Kyle Trafton; and 2nd Lt. Daniel Vortolomei.
