On Aug. 6, 1945, the “Enola Gay” B-29 crew dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima.The Hiroshima bombing was the second artificial nuclear explosion in history, after the Trinity test. It exploded with an energy of 16 kilotons of TNT.
