Name: A1C Jonathan V. Bielecki Squadron: 898 MUNS AFSC/Duty Title: 2W231/Weapons Maintenance Team Member Hometown: Baltimore, MD Goals: Long term-Coach football at the collegiate level; Short-term-Promote to SrA Accomplishment: A1C Bielecki is a weapons maintenance team member with 898 MUNS. Airman Bielecki is responsible for maintaining Protection Level (PL) 1 assets in DOD's only underground storage complex and providing technical support for 150 logistical redistributions each year, all while complying with nuclear explosive safety requirements and SECAF directed weapon system safety rules. Additionally, Airman Bielecki manages more than 200 classified and unclassified technical orders, enabling the unit to properly perform maintenance actions on PL1 assets. Airman Bielecki has volunteered his personal time speaking to new Airmen at FTAC, helping them identify and avoid common pitfalls for junior enlisted members. Recently, A1C Bielecki displayed alertness when he successfully extinguished a fire in the KUMMSC smoke pit after the butt can caught fire, quickly and safely resolving a dangerous situation.
