KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. -- Team Kirtland spouses and children toured Kirtland Air Force Base Fire Station No. 1 during a Hearts Apart event June 22. Hearts Apart is a support and information network for deployed servicemembers’ families. Once a year, the Hearts Apart family members tour the Kirtland AFB Fire Department and receive a briefing on fire safety tips, equipment use and a demonstration on how to effectively use a fire extinguisher.
