The 2012-2013 Kirtland Chiefs Group Council officers are, from left: Chief Master Sgt. Richard Moody, 58th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, treasurer; Chief Philip Gaudette, 377th Weapons System Security Squadron, secretary; Chief Bill McGregor, 58th Maintenance Group, vice president; and Chief Pete Padilla, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, president. “The Chiefs Group’s main purpose is to provide leadership and oversight of enlisted issues, and promote the welfare of and programs for enlisted personnel on Kirtland Air Force Base. The theme for the council this year is ‘Leadership Matters.’ We will be available, accessible, approachable and accountable, while giving back to our junior enlisted. We all look forward to working with the base to ensure we succeed in our main purpose,” Padilla said.
