The 19th Bomb Group, comprising the 30th, 32nd, and 93rd Bombardment Squadrons and the 38th Reconnaissance Squadron bega  April 10, 1941n flight training operations at Albuquerque Army Air Base.  The 19th Bomb Group flew B-17 aircraft under the command of Col. Eugene Eubank.
