Tax Center seeks volunteers

KIRTLAND AFB, N.M. --  The Kirtland AFB Tax Center seeks volunteers to provide tax help for Airmen.

The Center will be open from Feb. 4 to April 15 in the Consolidated Support Building, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Training for volunteers will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 14-18 at the Distance Learning Center in the 377th Air Base Wing Headquarters.

For volunteers unable to attend, training can be done individually by picking up the IRS training packet from the Legal Office.

To volunteer as an administrative assistant, no training is necessary. For more information, call Lt Meghan Glines-Barney at the Legal Office at 846-2934.
