Jeremy Parks Squadron: Defense Nuclear Weapons School Duty Title: Course Manager/Instructor Hometown: Spokane, Washington Goals: Parks' goal is to make master sergeant. He is currently working towards a bachelor's degree in emergency management and would like to complete it within the next couple of years. Accomplishments: Parks is an AF emergency manager who has been stationed at Kirtland since June 2014. He is the course manager for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School's Nuclear Weapons Incident Response Training. In 2016, he coordinated 18 classes, 30 agencies and 537 students across nine bases. He also ensures all Incident Response Force and Response Task Force commanders have key information when responding to unique incidents. Additionally, he created an accelerated continuity plan certifying a new instructor six months early, increasing mission capability by 50 percent. He was instrumental in the creation of the first ever NWIRT Europe course, bringing together 4 OCONUS installations and ensuring all programs met POTUS strategic vision.
