Participants have two, two-hour tours to choose from: 10 a.m. to noon, and noon to 2 p.m. Participants will board buses at the Cesar Chavez Community Center at 7505 Kathryn Ave SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, for transportation to Kirtland.

The field trip is limited to the first 100 people who sign up by Oct. 2 at https://www.portageinc.com/kirtland/.

To enter the installation, field trip participants must register with name, date of birth, and the last four numbers of their Social Security number. A photo identification is required to access the installation on the day of the field trip.

The field trip is a tour of locations on Kirtland to explain ongoing treatment efforts. Air Force and NMED environmental experts will be available at the stops on the tour to explain clean-up activities and answer questions.
