The 58th Special Operations Wing Welcomes Col. Jeff McMaster
Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. -- On Wednesday June 24th, the 58th Special Operations Wing welcomed a new commander. Col. Jason Allen relinquished command of the 58 SOW to Col. Jeff McMaster after leading the wing, which provides training for special operations and combat search and rescue aircrews. The ceremony was presided over by Air Education and Training Command deputy commander, Maj. Gen. Roy W. Collins. During the ceremony Collins highlighted the achievements of Allen which included increased training efficiency and output. The 58 SOW continues to lead the Air Force in C-130 and HH-60 training to support strategic security at Air Force Global Strike installations.
