KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The East Side Fitness Center has undergone significant upgrades, improving both training capabilities and security for Airmen. Leadership from the 377th Air Base Wing recently toured the facility to see firsthand the newly installed strength and conditioning equipment, as well as an enhanced security camera system.
These improvements are the first in a series of upgrades for the East Side Fitness Center ensuring that Airmen have the tools they need to maintain peak physical fitness. New deadlift, tread mills, ellipticals and stair-steppers provide better training opportunities, while the upgraded security system enhances safety and accountability, allowing Airmen to focus on their performance.
Maintaining physical readiness is essential to warfighter effectiveness, and these upgrades reflect Kirtland’s commitment to keeping Airmen prepared for any mission.
