News Briefs, April 20 Published April 25, 2007 KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico -- CCAF graduation May 8 The Community College of the Air Force graduation will be held May 8 at 2 p.m. in the Mountain View Club here. Airmen who have not been contacted and would like to participate in the ceremony should call 846-1730. A reception and buffet will follow the graduation ceremony. LPDP registration begins Registration for the Lieutenant Professional Development Course, which will be offered by the base May 21-24, has begun for young officers and civilians. Interested lieutenants and civilians must be registered for the class by May 14. The program is a base-level introduction to professional education for officers. LPDP focuses on practical skills and knowledge that will help students excel as newly commissioned officers. To sign up, send an e-mail to kirtland.lpdp@kirtland.af.mil with the student's full name, rank, Air Force Specialty Code, e-mail address, phone number, requested course date, and supervisor's name, e-mail and phone number. WIC office operating hours The Women, Infant and Children office is located in wing D of the 377th Air Base Wing headquarters building, Building 20604. The office is open Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and can be contacted at 846-0729.
