Air Force announces captain selections

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Air Force selected 137 first lieutenants for promotion from 139 officers considered during the Calendar Year 2007A captain selection process.

The entire list of promotion selects will be posted on the Air Force Personnel Center's officer promotions home page no later than today at 2 p.m. CDT.

The results of the board are as follows:

Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone:
· Chaplain, one selected from one considered for a 100 percent select rate;
· LAF-Judge Advocate, 44 selected from 44 considered for a 100 percent select rate;
· Nurse Corps, 44 selected from 44 considered for a 100 percent select rate;
· Medical Service Corps, 22 selected from 23 considered for a 95.7 percent select rate; and
· Biomedical Sciences Corps - 26 selected from 26 considered for a 100 percent select rate.
