Active duty program replaces Sick Call Published Oct. 22, 2008 By Kevin Pilloud 377th Medical Group KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, New Mexico -- The 377th Medical Group Family Practice Clinic has instituted a new active duty appointment program, replacing the walk-in active duty clinic known as Sick Call. Beginning Nov. 1, acute appointments for active duty personnel are available throughout the day to accommodate a variety of work schedules. These appointments can be booked by going to www.tricareonline.com 24/7, or by calling the central appointment line at 846-3200 from 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays. The purpose for this change is to ensure availability of same day acute appointments while eliminating the long wait time associated with sick call. Acute appointments should be used for medical appointments that affect your ability to perform duties that day. For urgent needs after duty hours or on holidays, patients may contact the clinician on call at 846-3200.
