Team Kirtland Top 3 Association is an organization for the senior enlisted ranks: chief master sergeant, senior master sergeant, master sergeant and technical sergeants with a line number.

Its purpose is to promote and enhance professional development, foster better relationships within the Albuquerque community, based on interactions and camaraderie of the Kirtland Top 3 members; establish a spirit of camaraderie and esprit de corps; and enhance the prestige and responsibility of all Team Kirtland senior noncommissioned officers.

Additionally, it encourages an attitude of unified purpose and set examples for all, according to the standards, traditions and customs of the United States Air Force.
Its goals are:

· Inspire leadership qualities and enhance the professional image of all military members assigned to Kirtland Air Force Base.
· Function as an added channel for bottom-up communication within the chain of command and between the 377th Air Base Wing commander and the enlisted members of Team Kirtland.
· Promote an informal atmosphere for the exchange of ideas and means of problem solving.
· Promote and support NCO Professional Military Education Programs.
· Enhance the welfare and recognition of all enlisted personnel.
· Establish an effective means of communication with all members to exchange ideas and to keep abreast of changing attitudes and advances in management, principles and the status of the NCO in the Air Force.
· Welcome newly selected Senior NCOs and other eligible members as defined in Article III, and familiarize them with the objectives and goals of the association.
· Take proactive measures to teach or demonstrate to junior enlisted personnel the skills necessary to become successful leaders within the enlisted corps.

Members meet at 3 p.m. on the third Friday of each month in the MVP Lounge at the Mountain View Club. All Kirtland senior NCOs may attend.

"We had a great turn out at our last meeting and we want to continue to see this level of participation. There's a lot of talent and leadership experience on this base and we would like to see more representation from each of the units across base at the Top 3 meetings," said Master Sgt. Jerry Ventura, Kirtland Top 3 Publicity Chair. "It is through their voices that we'll be able to identify ways to develop Kirtland's junior enlisted Airmen and support our community."

The Top 3 sponsors various awards throughout the year to include quarterly scholarships and a quarterly Top 3 Warrior Award. In addition, the Top 3 also organizes events for the base and community such as the Senior NCO Induction Ceremony, the National POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony and some fundraising events.
