Awards announced at annual event

At a ceremony Feb. 18 at the Mountain View Club the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center announced its annual award winners.

All awards are for the time period Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2010.

Leighanna Martinez received the Civilian of the Year Category I award for accomplishments as a budget technician with the 498th Nuclear Systems Wing.

Crystal Franco received the Civilian of the Year Category II award for accomplishments as a court reporter with the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center office of the Staff Judge Advocate.

Terry Turner received the Civilian of the Year Category III award for accomplishments as a technical data specialist with the 498th Nuclear Systems Wing.

Lisa Eparza received the Civilian of the Year Category IV award for accomplishments as the chief of the preventive dentistry program with the 377th Dental Squadron.

Senior Airman Joseph Crotty received the Airman of the Year award for accomplishments as an area supervisor with the 377th Security Forces Squadron.

Staff Sgt. Jordan Bishopp received the NCO of the Year award for accomplishments as the NCO in charge of the equipment section for the 377th Explosive Ordinance Disposal Flight.

Master Sgt. Anthony Khan received the Senior NCO of the Year award for accomplishments as the stockpile manager for the 708th Nuclear Sustainment Squadron.

Master Sgt. William Moore received the First Sergeant of the Year award for accomplishments as the first sergeant for the 898th Munitions Squadron.

Capt. Claus Fasting received the Company Grade Officer of the Year award for accomplishments as the special weapons flight commander for the 16th Munitions Squadron.
