Winter heat system start-up coming Published Sept. 16, 2011 By Joel Reinhard 377th Mission Support Group Civil Engineering Operations Kirtland Air Force Base -- Civil engineers are scheduled to begin the transition from facility cooling to heating on Oct. 17. This transition will be scheduled based on priority, mission-critical facilities and facilities operating on 24-hour schedules and other community support facilities. Engineering technicians will work the transition with each facility manager. All base facilities will be completed before Nov. 4. Facility managers should call the base civil engineering emergency service call desk at 846-8222 if the transition schedule affects facility operations.
