Kirtland AFB A&FRC seeks superintendent

The Kirtland AFB Airman & Family Readiness Center seeks a superintendent to perform duty in SDI 8C000 (four-year controlled tour). This rewarding and challenging position offers growth and development in the human relations field.
The superintendent assists the chief in all leadership aspects of the A&FRC services and programs, including management of resources and information management systems.
Assists in planning and coordinating Airman and Family Readiness policy and programs. Manages and executes the A&FRC budget. Promotes A&FRC programs and services at the Senior Enlisted Leadership Council and First Sergeants Group, as well as consulting with on base and community agencies and base leadership to ensure A&FRC programs/services are responsive to the needs of active-duty members and families.
Works with the Family Readiness team in the A&FRC to support contingency and disaster preparedness planning, exercises, and implementation of the Community Readiness Consultant model.
Superintendent candidate requirements:
· Must be a volunteer
· Must have exemplary performance history with the recommendation of the current commander/director
· If selected from Kirtland AFB, must have at least one year remaining on station
· Must be a master sergeant or senior master sergeant
· Background in human relations field desirable
