Team Kirtland family recognized for emergency fundraising, continuing education

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Mitchell Creech, 377th Logistics Readiness Squadron household goods and passenger travel section chief, and his wife Amber Creech, 58th Maintenance Group executive secretary, were recognized for continuing education and emergency fundraising. 

Tech. Sgt. Creech received a $1,500 scholarship from the Logistics Officer Association presented by Maj. Marc Bleha, 377th LRS commander. The LOA scholarship program is designed to promote education for junior enlisted, officers and civilians of the U.S. Armed Forces in the logistics and acquisition career fields.

Amber received a challenge coin from Bleha for her part in leading emergency efforts within the 377th LRS to raise $2,000 for a family in need within 48 hours of notification.
