Airman Gorash receives Diamond Sharp Award

Airman 1st Class Alvina Gorash, 377th Aerospace Medical Squadron public health technician, Gorash is in charge of 377th Air Base Wing’s occupational health and hearing conservation operations, providing quality preventive care for over 1,800 industrial shop workers supporting various missions.

Gorash boosted the wing's occupational health compliance to 100%, capturing first in Air Force Global Strike Command for three successive months.

She also developed a process improvement to the base non-compliance fetal protection program where she succeeded by closing the 452 days management information control website (MICT) observations and transformed the Air Force Standard rating to fully compliant.

In addition, Gorash serves as the Air Force Sergeant’s Association Sergeant at Arms and Vice-President of the Airmen Committed to Excellence where she led multiple successful events, strengthening the quality of life in our base community.

Lastly, Gorash was selected as the project officer by the Veterans Memorial for hospice care, coordinating more than 30 trained volunteers to assist terminally ill veterans.
