The 32nd Annual National Veterans Annual Golden Age Games takes place in Albuquerque Aug. 3-8. The event, a sports competition for veterans 55 and older, needs volunteers to help conduct events.

Col. Gibbs has declared the events an alternate duty location for 377th Air Base Wing members.

Kirtland Golden Age reps are hoping to get around 250 volunteers from the wing (this includes family members age 16 and older).  There are 93 events happening over the five days of actual competition across 10 locations around the ABQ.

To volunteer, please copy and paste this link in your browser: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=174952917

Volunteers will need to put in their info on the site for contact purposes and they will be able to select which events they would like to volunteer at.  The most important part of the registration is the “Group Name” field.  Please enter “KAFB” as the group name, so we can keep track of how many people are signing up from Kirtland.  To sign up dependents, please fill out the form multiple times, once for each dependent.
