Thunderbird visit
Capt. Kristin Hubbard, advance pilot/narrator of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team, taxis her F-16 to a parking spot after landing Monday morning at Kirtland AFB. She flew into the base to check local conditions and meet with the open house planning committee. The open house is scheduled for Oct. 9, when the Thunderbirds will perform at Kirtland AFB for the first time since 2006.
