The Jordan Fredrick Band provided the music for an April 16 banquet celebrating Kirtland's 75th anniversary. About 500 people attended the banquet at the New Mexico Air National Guard’s 150th Special Operations Wing hangar. The banquet had a 1940s theme, to remember the opening of Albuquerque Army Air Base on Jan. 7, 1941. Period attire and static displays of World War II vehicles helped bring the theme to life.
