Kirtland Military spouses attend an appreciation event that brought in dozens of local stylists, beauticians, and industry professionals from all over Albuquerque, during a spouse appreciation event, May 10. The event included a morning of pampering with massages, makeovers, manicures, pedicures and beauty consultants. The President of the United States designated the Friday before Mother's Day as "Military Spouse Appreciation Day." in 2012.
