Kirtland AFB to hold open house at the Bulk Fuels Remediation Facility

Kirtland AFB officials will hold an open house at the Bulk Fuels Remediation Facility (Groundwater Treatment System) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, on base. Everyone is welcome, and no special permission is required. Enter through the Ridgecrest Drive Gate. No weapons or illegal substances allowed. Parking will be available nearby.

Spill Prevention Exercise

The Defense Logistics Agency hosts a spill prevention exercise and bulk fuels facility walk thru on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico on June 29, 2021. The training consists of hands on operations of equipment, procedures and protocols for handling hazardous leaks, and ended with a 5 gallon, 30 gallon, and 55 gallon spill demonstration using water.
