Kirtland's Combined Federal Campaign is officially underway and will run through Nov. 12.

"This year we have a goal to raise at least $400,000 for our campaign," said Master Sgt. Richard Quintanilla, CFC installation officer.

To kick off the campaign at Kirtland, Col. Tom Miller, 377th Air Base Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. John Dougherty, command chief master sergeant for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and the 377th ABW, signed pledge cards Sept. 17.

The mission of the CFC is to help promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

The CFC is one of the largest annual workplace charity campaigns. Pledges made to the campaign from Federal civilian, postal and military donors help support non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
