Name: Senior Airman Jeffery L. Elkins

Unit: 58th Operations Support Squadron

Duty title: Aircrew flight equipment technician

Hometown: Elyria, Ohio

Goals: Finish bachelor's degree in criminal justice

Accomplishments: Before coming to Kirtland, Elkins was stationed in Washington DC and served on the USAF Presidential Honor Guard team. He as been has been utilizing his Honor Guard experience to mentor and assist the Kirtland Honor Guard. He has been assisting the 58th Special Operations Wing's inspector general in preparation for the wing's Unit Effectiveness Inspection, conducting unit inspections and managing the IG data system. He was a key volunteer during multiple recent 58th SOW DV visits, including the Air Force Chief of Staff and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force visits.
