American Airman video contest begins Published July 10, 2014 By 377th Air Base Wing Public Affairs KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Military and civilian Airmen are encouraged to produce a 30-second video and upload it to YouTube. Videos submitted from throughout the Air Force will be judged, and the top videos will be shown at the national Air Force Association Convention in Washington, D.C., in September. The rules will be posted at http://airforcelive.dodlive.mil/contest/? Submissions are due by July 29. On Aug. 12, finalists will be announced. Those videos will be uploaded to the Air Force BlueTube channel on YouTube, where the "Likes" will be recorded until Aug. 22, when the overall winner will be announced. All Airmen must adhere to the Air Force Social Media Guide. 377 ABW/PA will review all videos prior to posting the videos on YouTube. Airmen can bring their videos on CD or DVD Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to the public affairs office for review, or schedule an appointment with public affairs office by calling 846-5991.
