The Air Force's "Tops in Blue" entertainment ensemble will perform a free concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 24, at the Kiva Auditorium in downtown Albuquerque.

The event is open to the public and tickets are not required. Kiva Auditorium is located on the upper level of the West Complex at the Albuquerque Convention Center (401 2nd Street NW).

"This Broadway-style show provides the public an opportunity to see the most talented Airmen, who have been selected from around the globe," said Joanne Perkins, 377th Force Support Squadron marketing specialist.

Tops in Blue is one of the oldest and most widely traveled entertainment groups of its kind. Composed of 40 talented singers, musicians, dancers and technicians, Tops in Blue has performed for audiences in more than 120 locations throughout the U.S. and more than 25 foreign countries. This year's tour will take the troupe throughout the United States and to more than 20 countries, with close to 90 performances over a seven-month period.

Perkins said the enthusiastic entertainers display pride, patriotism and dedication, reflecting the Air Force spirit of service.

"The participants are extremely talented and the show is very entertaining and fun for the entire family," she said.
