Users of government computers may have noticed the new Wingman Plus icon on their computer's desktop. The icon, under the heading of "Helping Agencies," provides easy access to Kirtland's Wingman Plus homepage.

Wingman Plus, also known in the Air Force as IDS or Integrated Delivery System, is made up of agencies across the base that work together to enhance quality of life and  increase resilience among base employees.

"We are here to serve Team Kirtland and its family members, and we are working hard to let people know who we are and what services we offer," said Teresa Reinhard, Kirtland's community support coordinator. "This icon provides easy access to tons of useful information."

One double click allows users access to information on 20 base helping agencies, including Airman & Family Readiness Center, Base Chapel, Civilian Health Promotion Services, Family Advocacy, Kirtland Spouses' Club, fitness center, and sexual assault response coordinator, among others.

The Wingman Plus site, found at http://www.kirtland.af.mil/library/wingmanplus/index.asp, provides important telephone numbers and other contact information, as well as information on programs, classes, and events hosted by Kirtland's numerous helping agencies.

Wingman Plus agencies meet monthly to identify and address issues relevant to the well-being of employees, and to discuss resolutions, which are provided to base leadership.
