Name: Airman 1st Class Drew Brown

Squadron: 377th Medical Support Squadron

Duty Title: Biomedical equipment technician

Goals: Brown is currently pursuing his 5 level.  Once his upgrade training is finished, he will pursue a degree at the Community College of the Air Force, followed by working towards a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. He will then apply for commissioning to become an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Accomplishments: Brown has been stationed at Kirtland since August 2015.  He has maintained a $4.4 million medical equipment maintenance account. In addition, he assisted with completing 134 work orders in a three-month span, and performed 18 initial acceptance inspections on equipment valued at $24K.  Brown is also involved with the community. He has volunteered in support of the Team Kirtland Top 3 at the Santa Fe Obstacle Run, which raised $500, and assisted with fundraisers for the 4A/Medical Service Corps Appreciation Week, which raised $800.
