DAFMAN 31-131V1 2.2.13 requires federal installations to post trespass notices to the public annually.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that unauthorized entry onto the SAR-WEST Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) Range located on Kirtland Air Force Base and potentially extending beyond secured base perimeters is strictly prohibited.
Location of Range: SAR-WEST CATM Range, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. (Specific geographical coordinates available upon request for legitimate purposes only.)
TRESPASSING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Trespassing on the SAR-WEST CATM Range is not only illegal but also EXTREMELY DANGEROUS due to the presence of live gunfire and unexploded ordnance. The safety of individuals and the integrity of military training operations are paramount.
Any unauthorized individual found within the boundaries of the SAR-WEST CATM Range will be subject to apprehension and prosecution to the full extent of the law, including potential fines and/or imprisonment.
AUTHORIZED ENTRY ONLY:
Access to the SAR-WEST CATM Range is restricted to authorized personnel only. Individuals requiring legitimate entry for official business or other valid reasons must obtain prior authorization from the CATM Section Chief or designated representatives.
