Three combat arms instructors from the 377th Weapons Systems Security Squadron were coined for recent outstanding accomplishments that enhanced mission capability across the installation.

All three Airmen were recognized by Col. Michael Power, 377th Air Base Wing and installation commander, and Maj. Sidden.

Senior Airman Sebastian Cantellops secured $11,000 in critical parts and resolved a major issue with the Honor Guard’s M14 rifles.

Senior Airman Alyssa Salazar identified 9,000 defective .50 caliber rounds, saving $65,000 and preserving five M2A1 weapon systems.

Senior Airman Nicholas Wilkerson led the base’s Excellence in Competition match, training more than 60 shooters in safe marksmanship.

The Airmen were introduced by Tech. Sgt. Wilyaveh Cruz-Santiago, who highlighted their professionalism and technical expertise.

By strengthening the mission, these Airmen are taking care of the very people who carry it forward.
