3 court martialed for offenses

Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice
Airman 1st Class Arturo E. Rivera, 377th Security Forces Squadron, was convicted of rape in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice on Aug. 20.

He was sentenced to four years confinement, a dishonorable discharge and reduction to airman basic. However, under the terms of a pretrial agreement, the convening authority agreed to limit the confinement to no more than three years.

Article 112a and Article 134, UCMJ
Airman 1st Class Holden L. Price, 58th Maintenance Squadron, was convicted of wrongfully using cocaine in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ, and soliciting another military member to use cocaine in violation of Art 134, UCMJ on Aug. 22.

He received a sentence of four months confinement, reduction to airman Basic and forfeiture of two-thirds pay each month for six months.

Article 112a, UCMJ
Tech. Sgt. Allen R. Thompson, 377th Security Forces Squadron, was convicted of two specifications of wrongful distribution of marijuana and one specification of wrongfully possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute, in violation of Article 112a, UCMJ on Aug. 23.

He was sentenced to hard labor without confinement for three months, reduction to staff sergeant and a reprimand.
